The location was breathtaking, especially waking
up to stunning views of the harbor each morning. The hot tub was a true luxury, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. However, the steep access to the unit may pose difficulties for guests with mobility challenges.

i can't believe i almost gave a good review. the staff utterly failed to respond in a timely manner, and breakfast was cold, served from the night before. i expected, at the very least, a complimentary gesture for the inconvenience, but nothing. also, the BBQ ran out of propane. it's shocking, really. would not recommend.

I had an amazing stay with a breathtaking view and the breakfast selection was really filling, but a little more variety would’ve been nice. I’d definitely book again!

A balance of wins and fails
The balcony offered a breathtaking view, and the spacious room layout surpassed my expectations. The cleanliness was impeccable—spotless rooms made for a pleasant stay. Breakfast choices, though consistent, were hearty and satisfying.
The breakfast, while complete, repeated itself every day, becoming less exciting. Additionally, I felt a change in variety could enhance the dining experience. something unique each morning would be a welcome addition.

It was just a commendable fit for an overnight stopping in Sooke with decent value for money. The oceanfront location was relaxing, and I enjoyed watching the sunset from my room. Make sure to locate the entrance before arriving as it can be tricky to find on busy Sooke Road.

Finding the entrance was like playing hide and seek, but I’m no detective. Also, a trek to our room felt like a mini workout—who needs a gym?
